So internally and externally the host name resolves to a different IP, but those IPs direct traffic to the same machine. Externally the same hostname direct users to a public IP on our Cisco PIX firewall which routes all requests to that IP to the same internal machine. The exchange server is on an internal IP subnet (IP address is something like 10.2.2.90) and internal requests to are redirected to the internal IP address. I'm not sure about patches and service packs, but since the machine isn't even in production yet, I suspect it is current. The exchange server is version 2010, EWS is installed and functional.

Both machines are Mac Pro's running 10.6.6 both copies of mail are version 4.4 (1082).

The problem is the exact same settings on my machine at home works, but at work doesn't. I'm having a weird problem trying to connect Apple Mail to my employer's Exchange server.
